WHAT IS AN EMERGENCY?

Gas leaks, odor of gas, damaged lines, carbon monoxide symptoms and water main breaks are all considered emergencies.

If you smell gas, do not attempt to locate the leak. Instead, leave the house or building right away. Do not use any electrical switches, appliances, lights, telephones, or mobile devices, as an electrical charge could create a spark. When you are in a safe place, call M.U.D.'s emergency hotline at 402.554.7777 or 9-1-1.

If someone is showing symptoms of carbon monoxide poisoning, call 9-1-1 immediately. Symptoms are like the flu.

Description:

M.U.D. will perform a future water main infrastructure replacement project. Customers will see technicians in the project area investigating the water services of each of the homes. Project start date is to be determined.

Project Update (6/19/23): M.U.D. anticipates moving equipment and supplies into the project area the week of June 26, barring any unplanned delays. We will start more invasive work after the July 4th holiday. This project has the potential to stop for the winter months and then be completed in Spring 2024 due to freezing weather. We appreciate your patience as we work to invest in your neighborhood.

Project Update (7/17/23): Crew currently installing water main north of Howard Ln on N Molley St and will work south

Project Update (9/20/2023): Water main work is anticipated to be completed at the end of October 2023, barring any unplanned details.
