Annual Fundraiser Sets Two Records. Two records were broken at the 17th annual Heat the Streets Run & Walk for Warmth. A record 1,055 people registered for the run and/or walk and more than $175,000 was raised through registration, donations and sponsorships. One-hundred percent of proceeds benefit the utility assistance programs for M.U.D. and Omaha Public Power District. Help Reduce System Load With Odd/Even Watering. To even out early morning spikes in demand, we are requesting all customers use the following odd/even watering schedule this spring and summer. You will be helping to ensure our system operates more efficiently, and making this simple change can save you money and improve affordability for all customer-owners.
