Metropolitan Utilities District Hires Kendall Minor as Chief Operations Officer
Metropolitan Utilities District recently hired Kendall Minor as the utility’s new senior vice president and chief operations officer. He succeeds Andy Melville, vice president, Field Service Operations, who was serving in an interim role.
Minor has more than 15 years of experience in the utilities industry, including executive leadership roles for the City of Fort Collins Utility, Cherry Street Renewables, and Southern/Georgia Power Company. He received bachelor’s and master’s degrees in civil engineering from the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
Minor holds certifications in Green Building Design-Combined Cycle LEED, Sustainable Engineering and Construction Engineering Management. He is a member of the Association of General Contractors, the American Society of Civil Engineers, the National Society of Black Engineers and the American Association of Blacks in Energy.
