Some people, like needy older adults or our disabled neighbors, may not qualify for help with utility bills. That's why we step in with our Heat Aid Fund. The District established the Fund in 1983 and contracts with the Salvation Army. to administer the Fund. There are three easy ways to give:
- Write an amount on the front of your bill statement. The amount you specify will begin a monthly pledge.
- Complete the contribution form below and send to M.U.D.
- Mail contributions directly to: Heat Aid Fund, Salvation Army, 3612 Cuming St., Omaha, NE 68131. Your gift will be acknowledged.
All donations are tax-deductible.
Donors of $10 or more receive a reusable tote bag.
