2.5.09 CNG workshop April 15 M.U.D. will partner with the Clean Vehicle Education Foundation and others to sponsor a workshop April 15 at the Scott Conference Center, 6450 Pine St. The workshop will include a panel of speakers who have experience in establishing compressed natural gas (CNG) vehicle fleets and fueling infrastructure. During the past 10 years, the District saved $80,000 in fuel costs using CNG, avoided dumping more than 2 million pounds of carbon dioxide into the environment and displaced 2,050 barrels of foreign oil.
