6.18.07 Furthermore Habitat for Humanity of Sarpy County and the Metropolitan Utilities District have partnered to help resettle a Hurricane Katrina family in the Midlands. Richard and Allison Sauer and their two children were evicted from their Mississippi home by Katrina; they will soon possess a new, energy-efficient home built by Habitat and M.U.D. volunteers on Rose Lane Road in Bellevue. Both Habitat and M.U.D. can be proud of the work done to make the Sauers family welcome. |
