Engineer
Closing date: February 12, 4 p.m.

Responsibilities

  • Prepares studies and reports of a technical and engineering nature dealing with various areas of the District.
  • Develops, designs and prepares specifications as directed.
  • Inspects work performed under contract.
  • Provides technical assistance and advice to operating departments.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (civil/mechanical).
  • Strong oral and written communication skills to effectively work with contractors, suppliers, customers, District personnel and other engineering and governmental organizations.
  • Must be able to manage multiple projects, pay close attention to detail, work independently, be willing to work in all weather conditions and on all terrain.
  • Valid Nebraska driver's license.
