Business Analyst I, Information Technology
Closing date: 4 p.m., February 18
Responsibilities
- Provides support to departments and end-users using the ERP/CIS in daily and regular business operations.
- Using standard business methology, processes, gathers, analyzes and documents business rules and requirements from internal functional business units.
- Facilitates implementation of solutions to meet identified business needs.
- Ensures accurate implementation of District policy, practice and process within the ERP/CIS.
- Participates as a contributor in ERP/CIS-related projectsd or initiatives outside of his/her direct area of responsibility.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology or related field, plus a minimum of two years related work experience with project management, software development or system support.
- Knowledge of one or more functional areas including:
- Finance,
- Purchasing,
- Materials management,
- Customer relationship management,
- Accounting,
- Relational database systems,
- Data reporting,
- Data warehousing and
- Business intelligence.
- Technical proficiency with technologies underlying the District's ERP/GIS/CIS components such as, but not limited to, relational databases, database tools, web technology, UNIX, etc.
